WHAT IS KNOWN
A rare-looking machine that deserves a proper answer.
The current owner says the motorcycle was left to him by a friend more than 20 years ago. He believes it is an AJS 7R 350cc racing motorcycle dating from between 1948 and 1950.
The engine photograph appears to show the stamping 50/7R/610. No visible frame number has yet been located. The year, frame, engine, component originality and any racing history have not been independently verified.
- The motorcycle is being shown for identification and valuation only.
- Running condition and mechanical condition are not yet confirmed.
- The machine has a racing-style megaphone exhaust and later-looking front brake and running gear that require specialist assessment.
- More photographs and measurements will be added as checks continue.
