What are this bank of four Amal carburettors off?
Identification and valuation request—not for sale
The owner would like to establish exactly what this unusual linked set is before deciding what to do with it. The photographs show four silver carburettors, large bellmouths, fuel lines and a common throttle linkage.
Please explain the evidence behind any identification. The exact application, model and value are not confirmed.

WHAT IS KNOWN
A competition-looking set that needs the right expert.
The supplied photographs show four matching-looking carburettors mounted together with a shared linkage, large intake bellmouths and external fuel hose. “AMAL” appears to be cast or marked on the bodies.
They look consistent with racing or competition-style Amal units, possibly GP-type, but that is only a starting point. The bore sizes, stamped codes, internal slides and the engine they came from have not been verified.
- No purchase offers are being requested through this post.
- Please do not clean, polish or dismantle them just to obtain an identification.
- Useful evidence includes every stamped number, bore diameter, centre-to-centre spacing and the carburettor throat and mounting dimensions.
This post is for identification and fair valuation only.
